The Malaysian Society for Engineering and Technology is organising the 5th Engineering and Technology Week (ETW2026), which will take place from July 11th to 17th, 2026. In an era defined by rapid industrial evolution, the convergence of Digitalisation and Sustainability is no longer a luxury but a strategic necessity. Smart Engineering & Technology Solutions serve as the vital bridge in this transition, utilizing high-velocity data, Artificial Intelligence, and the Internet of Things to transform abstract green goals into measurable technical outcomes. By integrating these digital tools into the core of the engineering lifecycle, organizations can move beyond simple automation toward a model of “Intelligence with Purpose”—where every byte of data processed is leveraged to minimize resource waste, optimize energy consumption, and build a resilient, circular economy.
