Our Commitment

  • To establish a network of professionals in affordable housing, especially from
    amongst housing developers, contractors, educationists in higher education
    and researchers to help advance in field in Malaysia.
  • To provide a platform for exchange of knowledge, ideas and information on
    sustainable affordable housing development is the country.
  • To organise conferences. Seminars, workshop and congresses on housing
    issues so that it can be an essential medium of information-sharing to all,
    including members of the public and policy maker.
  • To be a referral centre for affordable housing development in the region.
ACTIVITIES

The Malaysia Affordable Housing Interest Group (MyAHig) has been given the opportunity to be involved in preparing a master action plan technical report to find a solution to the severe floods that hit Shah Alam at the end of 2021.

MySET council members Datuk Ir. Ts. Feroz Hanif Mohamed Ahmad, Ir. Ts. Mohd Sabri Mohamad Zin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Naim Ahmad Yahaya, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Tinia Idaty Mohd. Ghazi (Sec Gen), Dr. Balqis Binti Mohamed Rehan (MySET member) and MySET Secretariat team Puteri Musfirah Megat Johari, Nur Zulaikhazura Zulkifli & Muhammad Syakir Abd Yamin were given the responsibility to be the group leader, expert panel and moderator in the first townhall session held on 15 April 2022 (Thursday) at Mardhiyyah Hotel & Suites Section 14 Shah Alam, Selangor.
