WORLD RESEARCH & INNOVATION CONVENTION ON ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY 2023 (WRICET2023) – Malaysian Society for Engineering & Technology

The World Research & Innovation Convention on Engineering & Technology (WRICET2023) will be held at Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu from July 10^th – 11^th, 2023. The WRICET2023 is organized by Malaysian Society for Engineering and Technology (MySET) with the support of the Federation of Engineering Institutions of Islamic Countries Kuala Lumpur Regional Office (FEIIC-KLRO).

The goals for the convention are to gather engineers, technologists, scientist, academicians and researchers from around the world, to raise awareness of the international interests on issues related with the importance to recognize the role of engineering and technology for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), that could establish the factual basis, anticipate future consequences, and contribute to find innovative pathways for sustainability transformations. Engineering and Technology lie at the heart of sustainable development. We strive to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and each goal requires solutions rooted in the engineering and technology. Thus, “Engineering and Technology Breakthroughs for SDGs” befits the theme of the convention to address the issues.

Each registered presenter may present only one paper. Subsequent papers will be charged accordingly. Fee covers conference materials, participation in technical sessions, certificates, refreshment and lunch during sessions.

Kuala Terengganu Drawbridge

The Kuala Terengganu Drawbridge is a unique landmark located in the city of Kuala Terengganu in the state of Terengganu, Malaysia. It is a modern, high-tech bridge that is designed to open up and allow boats and ships to pass through.

The bridge is a double-leaf bascule bridge, which means that it has two sections that can be raised and lowered to allow ships to pass. It is the first of its kind in Malaysia and is one of only a few drawbridges in Southeast Asia.

The Kuala Terengganu Drawbridge spans across the Terengganu River and connects Kuala Terengganu’s city center with its eastern suburbs. It was officially opened on 2 May 2019 and has since become a popular attraction for locals and tourists alike.

The bridge is illuminated at night with colorful LED lights, creating a stunning visual display. It is also equipped with a state-of-the-art monitoring system that allows operators to remotely control the bridge’s movements and ensure the safety of all users.

The selection for possible publication in selected journal is based on the quality of the extended abstract which are double blind reviewed by experts in the respective field. However, the corresponding author is responsible to prepare a full manuscript to be considered in any selected journal according to their guidelines, terms and conditions. The full manuscript will further undergo the blind review process.

The notification of acceptance and selected manuscript will be done by our technical committee according to the deadline schedule.
